Highway Judge: how to stop a car without wrecking it
This is not a shooting game. It is a counting game with a laser attached. The only way to lose is one extra shot, and the only way to win is to stop firing at exactly the right moment.
Read the bar, not the car
Each car carries a thin bar above its roof. It fills with every hit and the number of hits required is fixed at spawn: two, three or four. The bar is the only thing you need to watch — the car model, colour and behaviour label are decoration.
Never fire the last shot blind
The failure mode is always the same: the car is close, the bar looks nearly full, and you fire once more without counting. Say the number out loud as you fire. If you have fired twice and the bar still reads two of three, you have one clean shot left, not two.
The 60-second economy
Roughly twelve to fifteen cars pass in a shift. A clean stop scores 100 plus a combo bonus; a perfect stop (no wasted hit) keeps the multiplier climbing. That means two clean stops at a rising combo beat four sloppy ones. Slow down — there is more time than you think.
What to practise
Play one shift where you never fire at a car until it is in the bottom third of the screen. You will score less, but you will learn how the bar looks at the moment it is full, which is the only thing worth knowing.
