Wood Chop
Straight down is the only way. Eight degrees of mercy.
Log pile done.
Press near the axe and drag straight down. Within 8° of vertical splits cleanly; wider angles stick the blade. Dark knots break the handle.
How to play
Press anywhere near the axe head and drag downward. The angle of your drag is the whole game: within eight degrees of straight down the log splits cleanly and scores. Between eight and twenty the blade sticks and you lose a beat. Beyond that you swing at air.
Knots
Some logs carry a dark knot. If your chop lands on it the handle snaps — a full second of nothing while you swap axes. Line the split up to the side of the knot and you keep the rhythm.
Good to know
Forty-five seconds, endless logs. Clean splits in a row build a multiplier. Your best score stays in this browser.
