WATER EDITION / VARIANT
Water Sudoku
Plain sudoku, digits dropping into still water.
Click a cell, then a digit. Arrow keys move, 1–9 place, Backspace clears.
Rules
An ordinary sudoku board rendered as a pool: cool blue, drifting surface lines, digits that land with a droplet and a short ripple. The rules are exactly the classic ones.
- Each row, column and 3×3 box holds 1–9 exactly once — no extra rules.
- Every placement is a droplet: a falling tone with a splash of filtered noise.
- A finished row or box breaks the surface — a wider, lower splash.
- Three difficulties, hints available, progress saved in this browser.
Good to know
Ordinary sudoku rules still apply underneath the variant: every row, column and 3×3 box holds 1–9 exactly once. The extra rule sits on top and is usually what breaks the puzzle open.
