LINEN EDITION / VARIANT
Linen Sudoku
Plain sudoku stitched on cloth.
Click a cell, then a digit. Arrow keys move, 1–9 place, Backspace clears.
Rules
The grid as woven fabric: visible warp and weft, muted thread colours, digits that sit on the cloth rather than on a screen. The sound is a soft thump, like pressing a stamp into fabric.
- Each row, column and 3×3 box holds 1–9 exactly once — no extra rules.
- Placements are muffled — low-passed noise with almost no ring.
- A finished unit is a longer, softer press.
- Three difficulties, hints available, progress saved in this browser.
Good to know
Ordinary sudoku rules still apply underneath the variant: every row, column and 3×3 box holds 1–9 exactly once. The extra rule sits on top and is usually what breaks the puzzle open.
